More Cannondale News Volvo Cannondale will have a new team and new everything next year. The bikes will be blue & white instead of the current red and the jerseys will be blue and grey and most likely will have the rider's name on the back (same as hockey, etc). Apparently Volvo has signed a new 3 year contract. Tissot has pulled out. They have a new President who does not want to sponsor teams. There is also word that the team is extremely displeased about the screwup regarding Alison‚s feed at the World‚s (the Canadian team managed to miss feeding Alison Sydor in both the critical first and last feds of the race). Our publisher had a brief chat with Alison yesterday - she sounded tired, but was happy to be home after a long, tough season. Alison will be sending us her post-World‚s column shortly, so stay tuned. Vuelta a Espana, Spain Stage 21, Alcobendas to Alcobendas - 43.7 kms 1. Alex Zuelle (Switzerland) ONCE 51:35 2.
