The silent auction brought in $8500, while the live auction reached over $15,000:

• Day riding with Christian Meier and Svein Tuft anywhere with as many people as you want ($4000)
Osoyoos vacation package ($800)
Personal cycling performance analysis ($1550)
Scott CR1 bike ($1400)
Harbour Air flight for 8 for MTB excursion at Spruce Lake near Whistler ($5000)
3-day F3 driving school experience in Sonoma ($5600)

Our correspondent Greg Descantes grabbed a few of interviews before the event started (below), photos and updates on the current status of a number of Canadian riders.

Updates

• Marsh Cooper will be leaving Optum to move to Europe with his wife. Currently he is without a team, but hoping to pick something up over there

• Rob Britton will be returning to North America after racing for Raleigh UK and will join the Smartstop squad

• Will Routley, who rode this season for the Accent Jobs - Wanty team is returning to North American. He has a team but is not yet ready to announce it. This is no surprise, given his previous interviews with us where he mentioned missing Canada

• Zach Bell is still looking for a team after the abrupt collapse of Champion Systems
