The Uno Imports Inside Sales position will foster confident, independent action and initiative, with a sense of urgency and the ability to make decisions. The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities and requiring rapid shifts in priorities.
The position will lead 3 key business objectives:
1. Seeking and identifying areas for new and expanded customer growth
2. Selling existing Uno Imports products and services
3. Drive account strategy and manage relationships
These objectives are accomplished through targeted prospecting, hunting and closing.
• Cold calling prospective clients and supporting outside sales team
• Providing accurate and timely forecasts, sales funnel, target/objective updates to deliver on all territory plans and annual targets
• Strong discipline to work off-site and to keep mobile when required (Travel will be required)
• Building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Understanding current and prospective customers' needs and buying motives
• Negotiation & entering in contractual agreements within accordance with Uno Imports' policy and procedures
• Internal support toward Inventory and receiving
• Technical sales knowledge with tracking sales results and closing ability
• Knowledge of the cycling and sporting goods industry
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to think and act strategically, including navigation through all levels of a client sale or prospecting
• Computer experience in MS Office, CRM, with basis accounting knowledge
• Selecting and qualifying profitable opportunities
• Ability to deliver on growth and hitting quarterly targets
• 2 to 5+ years of successful sales experience
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience (sales experience blended with new business development)
