Following the recent historic announcement regarding the new association with Team BORA-Argon 18, another milestone in the company's history is at hand: Argon 18 is changing from a distributor-to-retailer model for its high-end racing frame-sets and bicycles and will begin to ship products directly to specialty IBDs in the United States. This important step is effective immediately and will allow Argon 18 to grow the dealer network in this most important cycling market.

According to Argon 18 President, Martin Rioux "The United States cycling market, while not new for us, is really at the breakthrough point. We have had tremendous success with our Triathlon products and that has been our claim to fame in the U.S. Now with Jelly Belly Cycling p/b Maxxis, Clif Bar Cycling and BORA-Argon 18 road racing teams on board helping to drive traffic to retail, this move will allow us to service our IBD customers and satisfy the growing demand."

The sales channel will continue to be with specialist retailers in both road racing and triathlon that offer brick and mortar service to consumers.

Warehousing, Tech Support, Sales & Customer Service support will all be based in the United States.

In order to service our customers nationally, a sales field force is in place with further individuals to be added. A separate communiqué will be issued with contact details.

Note:  Canada already has direct to IBD retailer distribution.
