Downhill Missy (Giove) said this course is going to be tough. Lots of steep short hills and yet lots of pedaling. It will require a rider to be a good strong technical rider to win on the downhill course.
The weather has improved (somewhat) for today's downhill, but on the horizon are ominous dark clouds. In this mornings qualifires, many of the top riders were deliberatly taking slow runs, so as to give them an earlier start time, thus out running the rain. Some event stopped before the finish line and waited for their manager to tell them when to cross.
