The WPK Challenge at the Toronto International Bicycle Show has concluded!

What an amazing three days of participants going through 10 minutes of hell, and laying it on the line in support of the Canadian Men's Track endurance team and, of course, wicked prizes from Tacx, Garmin, and Assos!

Because this is in support of the MTE team we felt it was not fair to include members as official participants. So, unfortunately, the world class efforts put on by Sean MacKinnon and Adam Jamieson don't count. But we are going to hook them up in other ways.

Our three winners:

1st place - Hayden Mayeur - 5.6 wpkg
2nd place - Gaelen Merritt - 5.5 wpkg
3rd place - Bruce Bird - 5.48 wpkg

A special shout out to Ed Veal for putting out our highest average wattage of 460 for the 10 minute effort!

Here is a list of all the participants, and the final results:

1. Adam Jamieson - 6.1 wpkg
2. Sean MacKinnon - 5.77 wpkg
3. Hayden Mayeur - 5.6 wpkg
4. Gaelen Merritt - 5.5 wpkg
5. Bruce Bird - 5.48 wpkg
6. Ed Veal - 5.4 wpkg
7. Alan Kriss - 5.1 wpkg
8. Shane Lavell - 4.9 wpkg
9. Chris Firek - 4.1 wpkg
10. Tatjana Zaharova - 4.1 wpkg
11. Dylan Bibic - 4 wpkg
12. Matt LeCornu - 3.6 wpkg
13. "Sir" Matthew Ford - 3.2 wpkg

Next year, we plan on offering several categories for the event, so we can cater to all riders! Elite, Weekend warrior, Juniors, and a Womens cat
