Race Face and Easton Cycling (RFE Holding Corp, a subsidiary of Fox Factory Holdings) are on the move yet again with the expansion of the Race Face carbon crank production facility and a change in Canadian distribution for Easton Cycling.

Construction is underway at the RFE Thunderbird Crescent warehouse to expand carbon crank production to meet the increasing demand for the industry-leading Cinch crank system.

Rob Moore, Director of Engineering for RFE, explains the move: "Race Face is expanding its carbon crank manufacturing facility. With the addition of new presses, new processing equipment and expanded carbon layup facilities, Race Face will more than double current crank production volume, as well as improve product quality and consistency. Ultimately, this allows Race Face to produce better, lighter and stronger products."

RFE is also opening a new test lab. In addition to adding more test capabilities, the combined RFE test center will allow Race Face and Easton Cycling access to "some of the most rigorous test equipment in the industry," says Moore.

RFE distribution is also expanding in Canada. Effective immediately, RFE is now responsible for all Canadian distribution, service, and warranty for Easton Cycling.

"Obviously, there has been a lot of change for Easton and Race Face over the last year with the amalgamation of the two brands and the subsequent purchase by Fox," says Graham Tutti, RFE Director of Sales. "Throughout the ownership changes, we have been sticking to our core principles of building the best road and mountain bike wheels and components in the world."

"Both brands have experienced substantial growth and these adjustments to our business model allow us to better service our customers," added Tutti.

The new facility is a key component in the distribution of Easton Cycling in Canada, along with an expanded Customer Service team helped by a new state of the art phone system. RFE already has a new Wheel Service Center online and will be supporting all Canadian bike shops with the service of both Easton and Race Face wheels out of the Burnaby facility.

"In the coming months, we will also be rolling out a B2B website for both Easton and Race Face and working closely with our dealers to provide tools to make their lives easier," concluded Tutti.
