Silber Pro Cycling is pleased to announce a multi-leveled partnership with The 11 Inc. The Toronto-based bike store will serve as a financial sponsor, provide bike fittings and work with the team on forthcoming events.
Scott McFarlane, Silber Pro Cycling’s principal owner, described how the partnership developed:
“I initially phoned Heath Cockburn, the owner of The 11 Inc, because I needed his help with pedals. Heath stepped up as a significant sponsor providing more than just the pedals, and promised to help us acquire a saddle sponsor–which he did. By the end of the call, the two of us also discussed a collaborative event-driven project for the fall. Working with Heath is like that. He’s passionate and knowledgeable about the sport; and he’s also a problem solver. This leads to great service. I know so many people who drive from Montreal to Toronto to see Heath because of the level of service his store provides. That’s also why our racers, Benjamin Perry and Ryan Roth, had Heath perform their bike fitting before heading to Milton to improve their aerodynamics with Andy Froncioni and Alphamantis on the track. So you can see this is a significant partnership for Silber Pro Cycling. It speaks to our rapidly growing fan base in Ontario and provides us with multiple avenues for mutual growth with Heath and The 11 Inc.”
Heath Cockburn summed up his reasons for partnering with Silber Pro Cycling:
Being a former cyclist, I know how important and necessary it is to have a strong support system. As a bike storeowner, I think it is crucial to support your community. I truly believe that Silber Pro Cycling has tremendous potential and is filled with exceptional athletes and staff. The 11 Inc is so happy to support them on their journey!
