Voting Even Closer... The voting has gotten even closer as we head into the last 24 hours (the polls close at 8:00 pm EST, Tuesday, December 9th). Alison Sydor has retaken the lead, but by only 1 vote ahead of Chrissy Redden! Linda Jackson is still third, but dropping back. Kirk Molday‚s lead has shrunk drastically, with Andreas Hestler moving to within 4 votes of the leader. If you haven‚t voted yet, your time is running out - VOTE! Awards Presentation We will be announcing the awards, and making presentations this Saturday (December 13th), in Victoria, B.C. The location is Legends, in the Strathcona Hotel (919 Douglas Street, Victoria). Things get underway at 8:30 pm, with the presentations taking place at 9:30. All are welcome, and with the National Team in town this is your chance to rub shoulders with Canada‚s best. We hope to see you there. New E.D. for B.C. Cycle British Columbia has selected a new Executive Director, and we are please to tell you that it is our old friend, John Wakefield, formerly the Technical Director for Cycle B.C. Congratulations John. Unconfirmed Report (thanks to Michael Shea) We just received a note that B.C. rider Barb Zimich has won at the Masters Worlds in Austria - does anyone have more information on this?
