Hardwood Ski and Bike is thrilled to announce the amalgamation of Team Hardwood Trek and Centurion Next Wave Cycling teams.  The combined team will be called Hardwood Next Wave for 2018 and beyond.

"We are excited and proud to announce the amalgamation of the former Team Hardwood Trek and Centurion Next Wave Cycling Teams, to create the new Hardwood Next Wave Cycling Team," said Gareth Houben President & General Manager - Hardwood Ski and Bike.  "Huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. Differences were set aside, and the athletes' needs were put first. There are some exciting opportunities on the horizon for young cyclists in our area. Hardwood Ski and Bike will provide a great home for this inclusive and forward-thinking team. We welcome "our team" home"

The amalgamation of Hardwood Trek and Centurion Next Wave brings together two teams with similar philosophies - offering every level rider a chance to be a part of a successful program. Increasing cycling performance excellence for all members.

Rob Fex, Co-coordinator Hardwood Next Wave Development Team, stated, "Team Hardwood-Trek is excited to combine our mountain bike development program with Next Wave Cycling for 2018. By merging these two very successful programs together, athletes and families will now be able to participate in more cycling disciplines, with certified NCCP coaches, all under the same banner. There are now endless opportunities from FUNdamentals to competing at the highest levels. We can't wait to get going and have more people join the family!"

Hardwood Next Wave will work together to provide a rich experience to every cyclist in the program. Hardwood Ski and Bike is the facility that these athletes call home. Bringing these two teams together will create the Next Wave of Casual Riders, Racers, and World Class athletes.
