Tory Nyhaug is one of four men on our ballot for the 2017 Canadian Cyclist of the Year Award. Tory is out of Coquitlam, B.C., and Canada's top-ranked BMX rider in the UCI standings, seventh overall in the world at the end of 2017. Tory had one of his most consistent years ever in 2017, finishing top-5 in four out of six Worlds Cups, including a second place in World Cup #2. He also won the Canadian national title for Elite men, as well as three rounds of the Canada Cup series. CBC Sports did 'A Day in the Life' interview with Tory prior to the Rio Olympics (below).
