The Wild Rock Sportive is a non-competitive mass-start ride intended to focus on the social component of bike riding, that will take place on July 7th.
In partnership with Wild Rock Outfitters in Peterborough, Ontario, we wanted to create a new cycling event experience by incorporating an emerging style of riding: gravel riding. Using our "social" and "value-add" platform taken from the Shimano Gran Fondo (our road event) we are applying the same format to our gravel ride.
Two courses, one shorter and less hilly and one longer, with more climbing. On each course, we'll have two groups, a faster and slower paced group. All groups will have a minimum of 2 ride leaders and a follow vehicle for extra support. There'll be rest stops out on course as well and every rider will receive a "surprise" package of high quality pieces when they arrive.
Dinner and drinks is included in our fee for after the ride as well.
Registration deadline is June 7, 2018 - click Here for the Promo video.
