London Centennial Wheelers Receive Grant

London, Ontario (March 7, 2001) - The Ontario Trillium Foundation has helped boost cycling in Southwestern Ontario. The Foundation's $60,600 grant will allow the London Centennial Wheelers to purchase electronic photo timing equipment for use during local, regional, and national cycling competitions. The equipment will be used this summer for the upcoming 2001 London Alliance Canada Summer Games.
"We greatly appreciate Trillium's support and commitment in helping us make this purchase," said London Centennial Wheelers President William Harper. "The grant shows the Trillium Foundation's dedication to the development of world-class competition and sporting events in the London area."
London Centennial Wheelers is a local bicycle club focused on bicycle touring and cycling competitions in Southwestern
Ontario.
