Preliminary results from the second stage of the women's race, a 126 kilometre road race, show no change in the overall standings, with Genevieve Jeanson (Team Rona) leading Lyne Bessette (Saturn) by 22 seconds. Jeanson finished second on the stage and Bessette third.
