Radio Canada is reporting that Quebec City road pro Simone Boilard has suffered a concussion after colliding with a car on a training ride near Quebec City. Boilard won a bronze medal at the 2018 Road World Championships in the Junior women's road race, and joined the U.S.-based professional team Sho-Air Twenty20 this season. According to Boilard's father, the rider suffered a momentary distraction and hit the car. At this point, the severity of the concussion is unknown, as is how long Boilard will be restricted from training or competing.
