The organization of the Tour De Beauce wishes to announce the decision of the International Cycling Union (UCI) to withdraw the Brunei Continental Cycling team from the 34th edition of Tour de Beauce.

The UCI, which manages the administration of cycling sports on the international scene, has made the decision under specific regulations regarding the maximum number of riders (16) that a team can include in its roster during the season (UCI rule 2.17.004) and how many can be added as guests.

The UCI notified the team before stage 3a of the Tour de Beauce, the individual time trial.

All the results posted by the riders of this Asian team will be removed from the rankings of the stage race currently in progress. Quebec cyclist Bruno Langlois was invited at the last minute by the Brunei team to take part in the Tour de Beauce and must now withdraw.
