Event # 7 -June 11, Hershey Centre 39.1 km
Conditions: Warm and Sunny, 20 deg C, wind: S 7 km/h

1. Morty Bryce - D'Ornellas Cat. 3 12 points
2. Ed Maset Masters A 11
3. Adam Lucas - U of T Cat. 3 10
4. Monir Taha Cat. 3 9
5. Dave Oryzlo - Mississauga Cat. 3 8

Prime:
1) Adam Lucas 2) Lorne Cunliffe 3) Ed Maset
36 Starters - 36 Finishers

Prior to the start the riders were treated to a cornering skills clinic given by two of Ontario's premier criterium riders Aubrey Bryce and Eon D'Ornellas.

When the racing started a group of twenty split off the front and despite numerous breakaway attempts by series leader Monir Taha and others, no one managed to stay away. With only a lap to go the group was brought back together largely due to the work of Jason Vincze in the second pack. Morty Bryce (perhaps helped by some good coaching) managed nip comeback rider Ed Maset at the line in the field sprint. Thanks to all the riders for a great turnout and with help in setting up and taking down the course and to Aubrey and Eon for getting involved with coaching new riders.

Thanks to Rider coaches Pierre Perrin, Ann Turrin, Aubrey Bryce and Eon D'Ornellas and to Peter McCaffery for help with putting on the race. Thanks to Sponsors La Bicicletta and Schwinn Canada for prizes and continued support.
