Revised Mountain Bike World Championships National Team

The Canadian Cycling Association has added more members to the national team representing Canada at the Mountain Bike World Championships in Vail, Colorado September 8-16. The reason given by the CCA for the additions is that it was brought to the attention of the High Performance Committee that the criteria set for the national team had not been followed (with respect to some positions). The Committee reconvened and added riders in a number of categories. All of the added positions are self-funded. Also, a Downhill Coach for the Worlds has been selected. The DH Coach will be Natasha Ward of Edmonton.
