Haliburton Forest MTB Festival - September 22/23

Seems that having the pre-registration discount end on Friday took some folks by surprise. We had calls early this morning from people who just realized that it closed yesterday. We'll give you a break. Get it in by Monday at 6pm and we'll give you the lower cost. Don't forget that you can still register at Haliburton on the day of the event. We have lots of room for camping and the more the merrier.

The Haliburton Festival is one of the highlights of our year. There's all sorts of fun events on Saturday with a hill climb, a giant plank ride, the best puddle jump on the planet, and a night ride with a wolf howl led by a wolf researcher. On Sunday there is a 50km Enduro on some of the most scenic and challenging trails in Ontario, or you can just cruise the trails you want to cover as part of a Poker ride. Either way you will have some great riding. Mike has a new route in mind that will take you into some sections of the Forest that have not been used for the event in the past. We've got some great prizes, including some cash for some events, water bottles for everyone, eLoad energy drink for everyone, and as an added bonus the Shimano Multi-tech Van will be there to provide advice and assistance. There are even a few (very few) souvenir t-shirts left for those that can register soon. For full details visit WOW

One more thing - photos from the Skiis & Biikes Ontario MTB Championships are now posted on our site. Lots of good racing shots. Thanks also to Canadian Cyclist for some of the pics!
