Ontario Cup Meeting

(south east corner of Don Mills and Eglington)

You have the opportunity to make changes to the new Ontario Cup Series. The goal of this meeting is to get feedback from riders, managers, and coaches to improve the series and meet the needs of everyone involved. We would also like to use this meeting as an opportunity to get volunteers and staff for 2002.
Some agenda items include:

  • Downhill series locations and changes.
  • Downhill volunteer help, and course changes.
  • X-country start times.
  • X-country volunteer help.
  • Citizen x-country component.
  • Pro short track events.
  • How shops, trade teams, and unsponsored clubs can be involved.

Percy Shropshire Funeral / Visitation Information

The funeral service for Percy Shropshire will be held on Sunday, January 6, 1pm at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S. in downtown Newmarket. There is a reception immediately following at the Veterans Hall, 406 Millard Ave (corner of Church & Millard).

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, 3 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm.
