Coaching Call
The High Performance Committee is calling all NCCP Level 3 certified coaches interested in volunteering for the 2003 Western Canada Summer Games. Interested applicants must submit resumes to Cycling BC, care of Allan Prazsky, prior to June 10, 2002.

Please include a resume highlighting: coaching experience, team project experience, and coaching certification level.

All submitted resumes will be reviewed by the High Performance Committee, with hopes to finalize the selection no later than June 14th, allowing selected coaches (head coach and assistant) sufficient opportunity to prepare.

Western Canada Summer Games
The 2003 Western Canada Summer Games will be held from August 2nd to 10th, 2003 in Manitoba in the communities of Selkirk, Beausejour, Gimli and Stonewall. The Games will bring together approximately 2,000 athletes, coaches, managers and officials from four provinces and three territories for 10 days of high calibre multi-sport competition. These Games are an opportunity for BC’s top-level athletes to test their athletic talent against the best in the west.

Team BC triumphed at the 1999 Western Canada Summer Games in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan for the seventh time. Team BC has never lost the Western Canada Summer Games Cup, quite the winning streak!
