A very hot evening saw 36 riders come out. On lap 24, PAUL REGO won the sprint for $5.00 and on lap 12, JAY MACLAREN won the sprint for 3 points.

JAY MACLAREN, PAUL REGO and PIERS DAVIDGE broke off the front and maintained a 40 ˆ 45 second lead for most of the ride finishing in places 1, 2 and 3. Later in the ride, PAUL HORNAK and CHRIS PATON broke off the pack and finished 4th and 5th respectively.

Overall Standings

1. Piers Davidge, 29 points
2. Mirek Mazur, 20 points
3. Sean Scott, 19 points
4. Jay MacLaren, 15 points
5. Paul Hornak , 14 points

Administrative Support

The overall goal of the OCA is to encourage youth and adults to participate in the sport of cycling, and to encourage and promote competitive cycling and organized cycling events in Ontario.

Details:
This Summer, 8 week position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work with the Members, Volunteers and Staff. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Applicants must be 15 – 24yrs old and residents of Ontario and eligible to work in Ontario.

Start date: July 15th, 2002

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: $6.85 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Admin Support at events, event record keeping – stats & results
• Assist in preparation of member newsletters
• Updating Web Site
• Updating and managing member databases
• Develop OCA promotional presentation and material – who we are, what we do, how, & for whom
• Compile & format guides for organizers, clubs, & members
• Follow up on member inquiries
