2003 Road Worlds Courses

We have preliminary routes for next year's Road World Championships courses in Hamilton. There are 3 overlapping courses:

Road Course
Short Individual Time Trial Course
Long Individual Time Trial Course

Please note that these circuits are subject to final approval by the UCI, and could change (most likely in minor details).

Adams Signs With Giant for 2 Years

Canadian downhiller Dustin Adams has confirmed his signing with the Giant international team for the 2003 and 2004 seasons:

I have as of yesterday signed with GIANT USA for the 2003 and 2004 seasons. I am currently working on a few other co sponsors and a few of them are local. I will be competing in the NORBA circut for both seasons as well as the North American World Cups. Each year I also have a 3 week obligation to race in Japan for Giant Japan.

Congratulations to Dustin; the support he receives from Giant will hopefully allow him to perform at even higher levels.

Update on Small Sanction

We have asked for clarification on the 3 month sanction imposed on Simon Small for a positive doping test result (see Daily News - September 23/02 11:00 am EDT & September 24/02 10:30 am EDT) regarding the results he recording during August and September.

The official word is that all results during the 3 month suspension (July 21st to October 21st) do not count. Therefore, his 6th place at the National Championships is to be removed from the records.
