Worlds Selection Appealed

Mark Walters has launched an appeal over the selection of Charles Dionne as Canada's representative for the Elite Men's road race at the World Championships in Zolder, Belgium next month. The appeal states that according to CCA selection criteria, Walters should have been selected as the highest ranked Canadian in the UCI world rankings. A decision is expected by October 5th.
