Telluride World Cup Cancelled

Galeforce, the organizer of the Telluride World Cup triple in July, have just announced the cancellation of the event due to lack of sponsorship. This reduces the series to 6 events (2 are single discipline, 4 are triples) in total - St Wendel (XC only), Fort William (triple), Alpe d'Huez (DH/4-Cross only), Mont Ste Anne (triple), Grouse (triple) and Kaprun (triple).

UCI is expected to issue an official communique regarding event replacement or reduction of World Cup series and have said they have until the 19th of May to find a solution.
