The PacificSport National Cycling Centre - Junior Program is registering Victoria based athletes for the Spring and Summer session of the Junior and Spokes cycling program.

The Junior Program is geared towards athletes with 1-2 years of previous athletic experience (cycling or other sport). The program will train athletes in road, track and mountain bike racing. The goal of this program is to prepare athletes for Provincial and National level competition.

The Junior Program uses the Juan de Fuca Velodrome and track specific bicycles from the PacificSport National Cycling Centre. Mountain Bike sessions take place at the Hartland Mountain Bike Park. Road training is conducted on various routes in the Victoria region.

Spokes is the introductory level of the program. It is designed for participants aged 11-14. This level focuses on skill development and introduces participants to the sport using a variety of fun games and skill sessions. No previous athletic experience is required for this level.

The programs are lead by Dan Proulx (Level 4 NCCP Coach). For more information about the program, please contact Dan at (250) 360-1053 or email Dan@elitewave.com.
