Cancellation of the Canadian Master Track Championships / North American Master Track Championships

Unfortunately, the Canadian and North American Masters Track Championships at the Bromont Olympic Velodrome have been cancelled. After further discussion with the CCA (Canadian Cycling Association), the decision was made that we cannot hold a championship event with only 15 riders taking part. We extended our efforts in promoting the event till the last minute; however, only 15 riders from the United States as well as Canada showed an interest in this international event. Thanks for all those who believed in the event.


Malheureusement, nous devons canceller les Championnats Canadiens et Nord-Américains Masters sur Piste au Vélodrome olympique de Bromont en raison du manque d’inscriptions des coureurs. Après consultation avec l’ACC (Association cycliste canadienne) nous étions dans l’impossibilité de tenir un championnat international avec seulement 15 inscriptions. Nous prolongions nos efforts en publicité jusqu’au dernier instant mais seulement 15 coureurs, autant des Etats-Unis que du Canada, nous ont transmis leur intérêt envers cet événement d’envergure international. Merci à tous ceux qui ont cru en l’événement.
