25 minutes + 3 laps
1. Adam Craig (Vancouver) Giant Canada
2. Brent Miller (Aus) Bianchi
3. Kashi Leuchs (NZl)

12 starters

A small group of 5 had and early lead. Jeremiah Bishop and Julian Hine crashed leaving Craig, Miller and Leuchs. Leuchs attacked and had a good gap, but crashed (in the same place that Bishop & Hine crashed) with just 3 minutes to go. Leuchs got back up, but was not able to get back on. Craig attacked, and easily dropped Miller to take the win.

MTB Nationals Updates

The final number of riders registered for nationals
XC = 359
DH = 216

All categories XC races will be Saturday morning starting at 8:30am PDT (except Elite men & women, Master 30-39 men, Master 40+ men and Senior Expert men)

Downhill seeding at 1pm EDT with the final starting at 2:30pm

The CCA has decided that injured rider Dustin Adams and Jordie Lunn do not need to start the DH to qualify for Worlds.

Master 30-39 men, Master 40+ men and Senior Expert men race on Sunday at 8:45am EDT

Elite women's race is on Sunday at 11am PDT and elite men's race at 1:30 pm PDT.

The women will do 3.5 laps and the men 4.5 laps. This may change.

Alison Sydor said the course is great, but REALLY rocky. She dented a rim in training.

Tour de Delta

Stage 1: The Westshore Terminals Hill Climb, a 700 metre climb with a 9% grade. Start time, 7 pm PDT .
