3 World Titles for Canada at the UCI BMX World Championships July 29

Perth Australia - Samantha Cools, from Airdrie, Alberta, made her debut in Junior Women a big success. She beat out her U.S. rival Kim Hayashi to win both the Junior Women and 18 & Under Women's Cruiser Titles. She will have one more year in Junior and then move up to Elite Women in 2005. Way to go Sam!

Tory Nyhaug, the 11 year old rocket from Coquitlam, BC won the 11 year old boys class and took 7th in 12 & Under Cruiser.

Other results include: Patrick Lebel - 3rd in 15-16 Cruiser, 8th in 16 Boys, Jeff Ingram - 7th in 35-39 Cruiser.
