On October 9th and 10th, 2003 more than 500 people are coming together during the Road World Cycling Championships in Hamilton to do a pretty wonderful thing - we're hoping you'll be one of them. You are invited to take part in this inaugural event because of your known love of sports and more importantly the knowledge that you, like so many other people have been affected by cancer and are always looking
for a way to make a difference. Here is one way that you can.

Simply sponsor a stationary bike for $400 for yourself (and ride for 4 hours) or enter a team of 4 people (riding 1 hour each) on either Thursday, October 9th or Friday, October 10th. Go to www.thering.ca and click on World Cycling - Spin for the Ring or use the following link - it will take you right to the registration.

What do you get out of it?

• The knowledge that you have made a real difference in the fight against cancer.

• A chance to take part in The Road World Cycling Championships 2003 (The World Championships were first held in Nurburgring, Germany, in 1927 and there have been 67 Championships held since that time. The event has only been held outside of Europe four times.)

• More exercise than you'd typically get on a Thursday or Friday night and a great rush doing it with 500 of your close personal friends
