Joyride 2004 Moves to Sun Peaks

After 3 years of growth and success at Whistler, the organizers of Joyride Bikercross have announced that the event has been moved to Sun Peaks Resort north east of Kamloops. Sun Peaks has hosted numerous high level mountain bike events over the years and will be a great venue for Joyride.

Joyride will be involved with the construction of a new Bikercross course to integrate with the park and host a world-class event.

The new track will be constructed in the spring as Sun Peaks sets its sights to expand and develop the ideal mountain bike terrain. Kamloops is considered to be the birthplace of freeriding, so the move to Sun Peaks is a natural.

Joyride 2004 willtake place on July 10th. Information and updates will be posted at www.worldfreeride.com when available.
