Victoria Cycling League: Hill Climb Champs

On Sunday, September 12 riders will begin the three round fight to earn themselves the Victoria Hill Climb Championships. The first round is the Neild Rd. Individual Hill Climb. This hill is only 2.5km long but the winning ride will be roughly 8 minutes. The first half of the climb is tame and not too steep, but once you hit the switchback you be in full incline position as the road tips up to 10-12%. To get to the climb: take Happy Valley to Neild Rd. Sign on begins at 9:30, racing times begin at 10:00am. For more information head over to www.schwalbecycling.com
