Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski will race a bike with the legendary Gary Fisher double mountain on the headtube next season. The 2004 Olympian and double US National Champion signed a contract to lead the Subaru-Gary Fisher Professional MTB Team for the 2005 campaign.

"I'm very excited; I've always looked up to this program as very well run and professional. They've always had good equipment and a good presence," says Jeremy about his new team. "I've got a lot of motivation after ending the season on such a high note this year. I want to carry the momentum into the new year and changing teams is really going to help."

"I'm really looking to make my mark this year."

Jeremy's resume speaks volumes about his talent. He is the most prolific American mountain bike racer of the last decade. In 2004 alone he was an Olympian, won the National Championships in both cross-country and short-track, won the Pan-American Championships, and finished the season with the highest UCI ranking of any American man in the last 10 years.

Since signing his first pro contract four years ago Jeremy has won 6 National Championships, earned 5 Norba National victories, and stood on 30 Norba National podiums. Before turning pro he was 4-time Collegiate National Champion and 2-time Collegiate Cyclist of the Year.

"I know most everyone involved in the program and think it is a really good group. The management is proven and the mechanical support is as good as it gets. The most important thing is that Subaru-Gary Fisher really invests in the family nature of the team. I think it is going to be a really good experience and a good environment to win races."

Jeremy is the perfect man to lead SGF to the top of the US racing scene in 2005. SGF returns with the most committed domestic racing program in the industry. Expect to find Subaru and Gary Fisher at National races, 24 Hour races and local classics throughout the year. In the coming weeks Jeremy's teammates will be announced, followed by a schedule of events.
