More Tour Protests

We have been holding off posting anything about the today's tour stage because we wanted to wait and see how things developed. it appears that this year's Tour is in serious trouble. Last night, police raided the TVM team hotel and took 4 riders in for questioning. The peleton has reacted VERY negatively, staging a sit down protest at the first Sprint line, and now riding extremely slowly (60 kilometres in 3 hours). Laurent Jalabert's ONCE team and the Banesto team are reported to have pulled out of the Tour, and all the riders have removed their numbers in protest. Does this mean the Tour may end prematurely?
