Tour de Å’Toona

Well, we don‚t have much, but we do know that Linda Jackson (Saeco-Timex) has taken over the lead in the women‚s race, Elita is sitting third in team standings (women‚s race again), and Eric Lymen (Excellence Sports/Harvey‚s) won the first stage of the men‚s race. (the organizer‚s seem to be taking some perverse pleasure in keeping quiet about their race this year - ed.)

Whistler's Glacier Shop team of Sally Carmichael, Chad Miles, Lloyd Thomas, Paul Maki, and Angus Chard are currently in the overall lead at the halfway mark of the 12 hour race...Chad Miles, turning in consistent 23 - 24minute laps easily the fastest of the day by at least 3minutes!

At halfway, the Glacier Shop team has a half lap lead on the second place Team Norco.
