OUTDOOR GEAR CANADA (OGC) TO DISTRIBUTE ANSWER/MANITOU IN CANADA

Answer Products Inc. has named Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC) as its exclusive Canadian distributor, effective September 1, 1998, replacing Tucker Rocky Canada who have wound down their bicycle distribution business in Canada.

Answer Products will be sold through OGC‚s Bicycle division and stocked in their Montreal and Vancouver warehouses.

Answer‚s program includes Manitou suspension forks and seatposts, Answer handlebars and grips, Answer Accelerator and Flatfoot shoes, Answer BMX helmets and a range of BMX and downhill technical cycling gear and gloves.

OGC expects to have a full-service Answer/Manitou warranty department operational, in Montreal, by September 1.

OGC will also add Answer Products to its technical support services program offered at races and events throughout Canada.

The 1999 Answer/Manitou program will be introduced to dealers at Canada‚s Sports Retailer Show in Toronto, September 13 - 16, 1998.
