Saturday will feature many events new to cyclists with 3 different Adventure Races from ARC heading out first thing in the morning. These racers will head out on mountain bikes, but will also be carrying lifejackets, paddles, and running shoes as well.

The Bike for the Cure charity ride for the Breast Cancer foundation starts at 11:00 am with 2.5km, 5 km, and 10 km course choices.

The Canada Cup Short Track starts at 1:00 pm, and promises to be a fast and exciting race.

Sunday features the ever-popular Jamis Canada Cup presented by Sport Swap.

The "new" Canada Cup course has really worked in well and is receiving rave reviews from the riders. Many well known faces have shown up here today with many riders from B.C., Alberta, and Quebec arriving, and among them Andreas Hestler and Melanie McQuaid.

Two time World Champion Roland Green is confirmed to be racing Sunday, along with teammate and Canada Cup leader Kris Sneddon. They are sure to get some pressure from all our local favorite Ontario riders, making this a great race to watch!

Be sure not to miss this event either as a racer or spectator! Citizen/Beginner, Sport and Expert races go all morning, with the Elite Men and Women, and Jr/Sr Expert Men starting at 1:45 pm.

Entry is still available up to 1 hour before the start of any race. See www.hardwoodhills.cafor full info.
