The Ontario Cycling Association is pleased to announce its association with the Albion Boys and Girls Club to provide a Kids CAN-BIKE program for the youth in the Toronto Northwest area. The CAN-BIKE Skills Program is a traffic safety and maintenance program aimed at cyclists to become better and safer riders.

For this undertaking, the OCA will provide bicycles to the Club, helmets for the youth and the fees for an instructor. The City of Toronto's Charitable Bingo Program has helped the OCA to buy the helmets and bikes for this initiative. The charity requires that the money be utilized for Toronto based recreational activities, hence this initiative by the OCA to support the Kids CAN-BIKE program. This co-operative venture will provide the local youth (ages 13 ˆ 16 years) the opportunity to be introduced to the sport of cycling and acquire the skills to ride in a safe and organized manner on the road.

The OCA appreciates the support and voluntary work of Michael Trigiani, Mikay Williams and the Bicycle Depot in helping to organize this partnership.
