"My choice was influenced mainly owing to the fact that this team will be based in Spain and will allow me take part in many races in Europe. This will allow me to keep a "foot" in the European circuit while remaining in a part of the world that I love. Also, will enable me to get some exposure on the American circuit, since I will have to return to the United States to take part in the races Important races like the Tour of Georgia. I will be able to return at home often, while keeping the best of both worlds." said Parisien.

He also noted that the sporting director being Jonathan Vaughters also influenced his choice.

The 1 year contract comes with option for 2007.
