9:00 AM - Registration Opens (closes 30 min prior to start)

10:00 AM - Sport Men 45 min

10:01 AM - Women 45 min

11:00 AM - Expert Men 45 min

12:00 PM - Elite/Open Men 60 min

$20 - Same day registration. Cash or cheques payable to "Deadgoat Racing"

Course: 2.5km circuit. Course will be marked and marshaled.

Last Cross race before the provincials in Red Deer.

Driving Directions (from Calgary):

Follow Macleod Trail (Hwy. 2) south to the De Winton exit (look for the teepees). Turn right (West) and follow 552X for approximately 10 kilometers. Turn left (East) at 306 Ave. (there is a sign for STS) Follow the paved road past the Calgary Polo Club to the entrance of the School.

Cycling BC Awards Gala and AGM

The race season may have finished but Cycling BC is getting ready for our annual AGM and the 2nd Annual Awards Gala. The AGM is set for October 23 here at the Sport BC building (see e-Spin for details) and the Awards Gala goes November 3 at Mark's Fiasco in Kitsilano starting at 6:30pm.

This year's Awards Gala will feature a number of awards, presentations, slide show, an episode of CBC's BMX program, and lots of food and drink. Bring your friends and family for a great time. Tickets $20 ($15 for 16 years or younger). All winners of awards (you will be notified next week) will receive a free ticket.
