Cooke Off T-Mobile Roster

T-Mobile jumped the gun a bit when they announced on their website that Nicole Cooke would be joining Lyne Bessette, Judith Arndt and Kim Bruckner as one of the stars for the revamped women's squad in 2006.

"We have several talented athletes on board and as sometimes happens, we were not able to align Nicole's personal goals with those of the team," regrets Bek. "We wish Nicole the very best in her future racing career."

As mentioned in previous reports, Canada's Amy Moore will also be on the team, as will American Rebecca Much, silver medalist in the Junior time trial at the 2004 Worlds, and U.S. Espoir national ITT champion.

Joining Perras at KG/SN is fellow Canadian sprinter Martin Gilbert. A National track team member, Gilbert was a stage winner and overnight leader in the 2005 Tour de Beauce.

Rollin Joins VC Roubaix

Dominique Rollin, 2004 Espoir time trial champion and winner of this year's Quebec-Montreal, has signed with the amateur French squad VC Roubaix. VC Roubaix is managed by legendary pro directeur sportif Cyrille Guimard.
