A splendid effort was put in by Matthew Martindill (second overall and second junior), competing in his first event at the longer distance. Veteran racer Scott Thomson (Jolley's) showed that there is life in the late thirties with his third place overall. A sparse women's field was led by Zoe Nimick (Jolley's - Rocky Mtn.) and followed up by Ashley Clark (Kona). Fun (1 lap) A junior rider to watch is Josh Tedford of Owen Sound who romped home ahead of the field. Second overall, and another up and coming racer is Travis Evenson, who also finished as first Cadet. Senior rider Jim Brown interrupted his visit from Vancouver long enough to take third overall.
