Canadian Cycling Achievements
A couple of weeks ago we suggested that it was time to put together a list of the top Canadian cycling achievements (see Daily News: November 20/05 10:35 am EST - Canadian Cycling Achievements). Thanks to input from readers, we have put together a list of 25 individual achievements. Now, we want you to vote on which ones are worthy of being on our top-ten list.
After two days of voting, the top vote-getters are:
1. Alison Sydor's 3 consecutive world titles
2. Lori-Ann Muenzer's Oympic gold (first ever Canadian cycling gold)
3. Steve Bauer's 10 consecutive days in Tour yellow (1990)
4. Alison Sydor's 13 consecutive top-5 finishes at Worlds (1992-2004)
5. Steve Bauer's 1988 Tour (stage win, 5 days in yellow, 4th overall)

Krebs (Vancouver) Weeknight Indoor Spin Workouts
Krebs Cycle Club is once again holding Tuesday evening indoor spin workouts in Vancouver throughout the winter. Insured riders of all ages through Cycling BC or other clubs are welcome to join in (first time attendees required to present proof of insurance). Follow our Krebs session leaders through a structured off season program designed to build on-bike strength and endurance leading into the 2006 race season.
This week December 6th introduces an all new workout known as the MINDBREAKER. Far different from a simple set of structured intervals, the MINDBREAKER is the ultimate indoor off-season tactical race preparation, developing the physical and mental skills required for competition. If you want to learn more then put on your game face and come out for this week's session!
