The locally owned and operated bike shop, Cycle Solutions, is currently searching for a part-time sales associate who is looking to be an integral part of a team, willing to contribute positively to a close knit working environment within a fast-paced local business!

As well as a developing knowledge of Cycling, Skiing, and the applicable soft and hard goods that go along with these sports, the ideal candidate will also be an outgoing individual able to cultivate trusting relationships with the many fine customers that come through our doors.

Duties will include:

• Sales: Serving customers as they browse the shop, helping them find whatever items they are looking for, all the while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.

• Shop upkeep and organization: ensuring that appearance standards are kept and that inventory is well organized on and off the floor. This will also include strategic merchandising, so previous sales experience would be an asset!

• Receiving stock.

• Social Networking and website: Special sales, interesting tidbits, and customer interaction on our Facebook and Twitter pages! Engage our followers and maintain the shop's 'personality' online.

Cycle Solutions is, again, a team of folks looking to help promote a healthy and active lifestyle on the West Coast of Newfoundland!

The successful candidate is more than welcome, and encouraged, to participate and volunteer in the various activities we hold on weekends and occasionally outside of retail hours. These include trail builds, spin classes, group rides, and races such as the Impact Road Race, Bonne Bay Loop, Marble RV Corner Brook Tri, and the Tour Du Port Au Port.

If you are an enthusiastic, passionate, dedicated individual who loves adventure, then drop us a line! Please submit a resume (including references) to info@cyclesolutions.ca or call (709) 637-7100 for further information on this position.
