Posted by Editoress on 01/8/15

Three days after the new Milton velodrome hosted its first event, the Canadian Track Championships, international riders will get their first chance to try out the Pan Am Games venue with the Milton International Challenge, beginning on Friday and running through Sunday.

Nine countries will be represented for both team and individual events - Canada, USA, Jamaica, Trinidad, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

The competition begins Friday afternoon with the Team Sprint, Team Pursuit and Scratch Race events, starting at 1:00 pm. On Saturday, the morning session will feature the opening event of the men's and women's Omnium and Sprint, plus the Team Pursuit for Junior men and women. The afternoon and evening session will offer the final rounds of the Sprint, two more Omnium events, and the finals for the Junior Team Pursuit. The final session will take place on Sunday, with the last three events in the Omnium, the Keirin and the men's Madison.
