October 26/98 10:57 am - Ontario `Cross Results

Brampton Cyclo-cross, Ontario

What a gorgeous day - and what a turn-out!!! 75 starters!!! That must be a record for a provincial 'cross event in Ontario. Chris Hansen is still at the head of the pack but Jeff Weber gave him a run for his money for over half the race. Josh Hall is starting to show and should peak for the Nationals. On the distaff side, Chrissy Redden showed her class by beating all but 4 of the Veterans. One down note - Brent Arthurs of Woodbridge Italia broke his collar bone while pre-riding the course.
