The Mike's Bike Shop Cup will end on a high note tomorrow night (October 26th) with the Boo-Cross special. Cyclists are welcome to bring their kids dressed in their Halloween costumes to ride around the course and pick up candies! This initiative from the Mike's Bike Shop Cycling Club BOB's (Babes On Bikes) crew will precede the final event of the season. The trick-or-treat ride will commence at 6 pm and the start of the last stage of the series will be given at 7. Podium and prize presentation will follow the event with a little social activity.

This 13th event of the series will be the final match up between Chris Selkirk and Charles Cormier. The two riders battled it out throughout the summer over cross country (mountain bike), criterium (road), track (velodrome) and now cyclo-cross events. The points system is handicapped based so it offers an equal chance for everyone to perform regardless on gender or category. A toonie for every registration will go to charity and the overall winner will gain the right to offer the money organization of his choice.

So get dressed, bring your little ghosts, and enjoy this last official event of the 2006 cycling season at the National Cycling Centre ˆ Atlantic Canada! Everyone's welcomed from beginner to expert level and we also accept mountain bikes for this cross event.
