15 Days Left to Register for Epic 278 km Across PEI Ride

There is 15 days left to register for what many call the epic ride of their lifetime in order to be entered into a draw to win one of three off-island Country Pines Inns & Suite Starter Kits, including free accommodation and free transportation to and from the event.

The 3rd Annual Biking for Breakfast Challenge is a fully supported event happening on August 4, 2007, in picturesque Prince Edward Island, Canada. Not only is there fully supplied rest stops but transportation is provided as well as support vehicles will be on route to assist riders. This is your opportunity to bicycle an entire province of Canada, tip-to-tip, in one day.

The first 50 riders to register online also get free a classic long sleeve t-shirt to commemorate their experience.

With an incredibly low registration fee ($10) and a suggested minimum donation of only $50 to support breakfast programs on PEI, and options to register as a team or individual, ride partial or the full course, the event received national recognition for inspiration and leadership in 2006 from the Breakfast for Learning non-profit organization.

This year's event is aiming for 75 riders and to raise over $10,000 for breakfast programs across PEI. The total distance from North Cape to East Point is 278 km but riders can elect to ride a course of their choosing.

Riders ranging in age of 20 to 66 have participated in this event in the past. The event also doubled in rider participation last year.

Registration will continue up to the day of the event but the Country Pines Start Kit contest closes on May 20 with winners announced on May 27.
