In an article published in the June 5th Simcoe.com online news site, it was announced that the County of Simcoe has purchased Hardwood Hills Nordic Ski and Mountain Bike Centre for an 'undisclosed" amount.

It apears that the sale/purchase was mitigated to settle a long standing lawsuitbetween Hardwood and the county over a dumpsite that was leaching onto the land (previously) owned by Hardwood Hills.

The Viney's will stay on for 1 year as the County attempts to find a purchaser for the property.
