Position: High Performance Manager
Job Description:
Triathlon Canada is seeking an experienced, energetic, highly motivated individual to manage the programs related to High Performance for the organization at its National Office in Toronto.
Duties include working closely with the High Performance Committee, the National Triathlon Centre Coach and National Staff to manage National Team Programs including the Athlete Assistance Program (AAP), athlete funding, national camps, national team travel and logistics, World Championships and Major Games.
Additionally, the High Performance Manager will liaise with Triathlon Canada's national team coaches, Performance Enhancement Team and other stakeholders including Sport Canada, Podium Canada, Canadian Olympic Committee, International Triathlon Union and Provincial Governing Bodies.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in high performance amateur sport as an administrator
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access and Power Point
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service approach
• Bilingual in English and French is a major asset
Preferred:
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience managing or coordinating teams competing in World Championships or Major Games
Reports to: Executive Director
Compensation: A comprehensive compensation package will be offered commensurate upon qualifications and experience
